The Martha Waldo Greene and Frederick Sherman Collection of Frederick Douglass papers contains a total of 26 items by and relating to Frederick Douglass (1818-1895): 19 letters and documents, 5 photographs, and 2 published books. Collection contains a letter from author, lawyer and African American freedom activist James Weldon Johnson (1871-1938).
