- Abstract
- This pamphlet is a public health resource about rat infestations and how to fight them created by the mayoral administration of Gilson Menezes (PT) in Diadema, an industrial suburb of São Paulo. Gilson Menezes (1983-1988) was the first mayor of any city elected by the Partido dos Trabalhadores (PT) or Workers' Party in Brazil. Menezes made expanding basic sanitation infrastructure and improving health conditions central focuses of his administration.
