- This is the first newsletter produced by the Movimento de Saúde de São Mateus, a grassroots health movement in the eastern urban periphery of São Paulo. The newsletter features a powerful poem, "Health: A Right" (Saúde: um direito) criticizing poor health conditions and a lack of basic urban infrastructure in the urban periphery, ending with the rhetorical question "How can a people be healthy with all this?"
