- Cela fait un siècle déjà que la réception française de Pessoa se déploie, avec ses commencements, ses retards, ses accélérations, ses récurrences et ses singularités, ses figures de médiations particulières et assidues. Outre le mouvement général, il s’agit d’en situer quelques aspects, notamment sur le plan de l’édition, de la traduction, de la recherche et de la création contemporaine. Se calant sur la réception portugaise avec laquelle les échanges intellectuels et littéraires sont forts, la réception française participe activement de la réception mondiale de Pessoa. Elle met l’accent sur certains pans de l’œuvre et commence à s’ouvrir à d’autres écrits d’accès jusqu’alors plus restreint. Établie à partir du catalogue de la Bibliothèque nationale de France (dépôt légal), une synthèse bibliographique des œuvres du poète publiées en France conclut le propos et donne idée de la très grande vivacité de cette réception, nourrie par un flux continu de traductions et de retraductions.

- Há já um século que a recepção francesa de Pessoa se desenrola, com os seus começos, os seus atrasos, as suas acelerações, as suas recorrências e singularidades, as suas figuras de mediação particulares e assíduas. Além do movimento geral, é necessário situar alguns aspectos dele, particularmente em termos de publicação, tradução, pesquisa e criação contemporânea. Baseada na recepção portuguesa, com a qual os intercâmbios intelectuais e literários são fortes, a recepção francesa participa activamente na recepção mundial de Pessoa. Centra-se em certas partes da sua obra e começa a abrir-se a outros escritos, anteriormente de acesso mais limitado. Com base no catálogo da Bibliothèque nationale de France (depósito legal), uma síntese bibliográfica das obras do poeta publicadas na França conclui o tema e dá uma idéia da natureza muito viva dessa recepção, alimentada por um fluxo contínuo de traduções e traduções.

- For a century now, the French reception of Pessoa has been unfolding, with its beginnings, its delays, its accelerations, its recurrences and singularities, its particular and assiduous mediation figures. In addition to the general movement, it is necessary to situate some aspects of it, particularly in terms of publishing, translation, research and contemporary creation. Based on the Portuguese reception with which intellectual and literary exchanges are strong, the French reception actively participates in the worldwide reception of Pessoa. It focuses on certain parts of the work and begins to open up to other writings, that have hitherto been more restricted in access. Based on the catalogue of the Bibliothèque nationale de France (legal deposit), a bibliographic synthesis of the poet’s works published in France concludes the subject and gives an idea of the very lively nature of this reception, fueled by a continuous flow of translations and translations.
