- Desde noviembre de 1961, con la publicación del ensayo de Octavio Paz “El desconocido de sí mismo” en la revista Universidad de México, Fernando Pessoa fue presentado a los lectores. Poco después, en 1963, Armas y letras, revista de la Universidad de Nuevo León publicó en la ciudad de Monterrey un número monográfico sobre el poeta. Las nuevas ediciones se han multiplicado, como las voces de Pessoa. Las dos primeras décadas del siglo XXI nos demuestran que Fernando Pessoa gana nuevos adeptos y su influencia penetra en más amplios sectores.

- Fernando Pessoa’s work was introduced by Octavio Paz through the publication of the article “El desconocido de sí mismo” in the magazine Universidad de México in 1961. Soon after, in 1963, Armas y letras, a magazine of the University of Nuevo León, published a monographic piece on the poet in the city of Monterrey. Ever since, new editions have multiplied, and knowledge about Pessoa’s multiplicity of voices has grown. The first two decades of the 21st century show us that Fernando Pessoa continues to gain new followers and his impact penetrates in wider sectors of Mexican literature.

- Em novembro de 1961 foi publicado o ensaio de Octavio Paz “El desconocido de sí mismo” na revista Universidad de México. Nesse texto, Fernando Pessoa foi apresentado aos leitores do México. Dois anos mais tarde, em 1963, Armas y letras, revista da Universidad de Nuevo León publicou na cidade de Monterrey um número monográfico do poeta. As novas edições têm se multiplicado, tanto como as vozes do Pessoa. As duas primeiras décadas do século XXI confirmam que Fernando Pessoa ganha novos adeptos e sua influência penetra em âmbitos ainda mais extensos.
