- Este artigo refere as primeiras edições bilingues ou traduzidas para espanhol da literatura de Fernando Pessoa que circularam pela Colômbia durante a segunda metade do século XX, e reconstrui a história de como estas leituras influenciaram uma rede ampla de escritores locais e artistas. Atenção especial é dada ao impacto que a poesia traduzida de Pessoa teve em muitas das companhias teatrais mais importantes da Colômbia, e ao papel que Medellín, a segunda maior cidade do país, teve (mesmo antes que Bogotá) como um dos centros mais importantes de estudos e leituras pessoanas no mundo hispanofalante.

- This article takes a look at the first bilingual or translated Spanish editions of Fernando Pessoa’s literature that circulated in Colombia during the second half of the twentieth century, and reconstructs the story of how these readings influenced a broad network of both local writers and artists. Special attention is given to the impact that Pessoa’s translated poetry had in many of Colombia’s most important theater groups, and to the role that Medellin, the country’s second largest city, had (even before Bogotá) as one of the most important hubs of Pessoa studies and readership in the Spanish-speaking world.
