California Catholic Bishops statement on farm labor adopted May 3, 1973

Description

Abstract:
Statement in support of farm workers right to choose and organize their own labor unions. The Catholic Bishops argue that neither the Teamsters or the UFW have succeeded in doing this; the only solution is a secret ballot so the workers can decide on a union of their choice.
