- All Coachella Valley Unified School Districts will be open Monday, April 19. Security precautions to assure the safety of students will be implemented. Several staff transfers will take place beginning on Monday. Dr. Tucker is making efforts to meet with the Community Committee for Alternatives in Education to resolve the conflict. Students who participated in the school demonstrations will not be subject to disciplinary action if they return to school on Monday.
