<mods:abstract>A meeting of the Coachella Valley Unified School District was adjourned due to demonstrations by the Community Committee for Alternatives in Education (CCAE) who demanded that the meeting be translated into Spanish. They specifically objected to Coachella Councilman Anthony Garcia. Most of the demonstrators were youth. CCAE demands the reinstatement of teaching positions for Roman Koenig, Yolanda Almaraz, Charles Marquez and Socorro Quintero and accuses teachers Don Cochran or child molestation and Jane Coffey of abuse.</mods:abstract>
