 The article offers the author's insights on the United Nations' (UN) attempt to address the poverty eradication and sustainability issues in the post-2015 development framework of Sustainable Development Goals. Topics include the need review the policies about rural development since 1990s, interventions for setting policy frameworks, and role of the private sector and a third sector of collective and civil society organizations to focus on rural development.
