An interview with Bruce Hoffman, professor in the Security Studies Program at Georgetown University's Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service, is presented. When asked if homegrown plots are al-Qaeda network or al-Qaeda locals work, he says that in Europe most of the plots and attacks are the work of al-Qaeda locals. He states that the massive plot in Toronto, Canada, is the work of al-Qaeda network. He mentions that the threat from the network is smaller than that of traditional al-Qaeda.
