 An interview with Daniel Deudney, an associate professor of international relations and political theory at Johns Hopkins University, is presented. When asked about resource scarcity's potential to cause widespread political and economic crises, he says that resource scarcity is a returning fact in world politics. He mentions that there are 440 nuclear reactors in the world that are providing electricity. He notes that the problems in nuclear energy are the proliferation and protection issues.
