Original unsigned watercolor of officer with riding crop walking to left. Originally identified as a French officer but is now considered to represent a British Light Dragoon based on the peak-less shako and coatee. The waist sash is not seen on French uniforms but common on Light Dragoon uniforms (information from René Chartrand).
