Photo of the new centralized print job pickup window. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, all of the printers arrayed around campus were removed for the 2020–2021 year. Instead, all printing is done at a centralized printing facility in the Brown University Center for Computation and Visualization, formerly the Brown University Computing Laboratory. A person presents their ID and a staff member delivers their printout. Except for the lack of punched card decks, this is looking eerily familiar.
The Brown CS Digital Archive is a crowdsourced effort to curate items from our faculty, staff, students, and alums that have contributed to Brown CS history and preserve them permanently online, where they will be accessible to all.
