  <mods:abstract>Winston Lima was born on Februatry 12, 1941 in Providence, R.I. He lived for many years on Benevolent Street, just north of Fox Point. He reflects on many of the celebrated memories of Fox Point: the Boys' Club, the Holy Rosary Church, the sense of community, etc. He offers interesing insights into the relationship of Brown University with Fox Point, primarily from the 1970s onward. Although the University eventually purchased his family's home, Winston feels that Brown has always treated his family well. Although he now lives in Cranston, he maintains close ties with the Holy Rosary community.
Winston Lima, born in 1941, spent the first seventeen years of his life in Fox Point. Following three years in the 82nd Airborne Division he returned to Fox Point where he resided until he met his wife and moved to a veterans' housing project. He reflects on his time spent at the Fox Point Boys Club and the value it had on his upbringing. He also speaks on race and segregation in the military, in Fox Point, and during the time he was employed by Brown &amp; Sharpe Manufacturing and Naragansett Electric Company. He remains active in the Boys Club Alumni Association.</mods:abstract>
