- Authored by Ramón José Argote y Gorostiza according to Medina and Vargas Ugarte. In reality, however, Argote y Gorostiza's role was that of compiler and editor.
- Printed in 1781 according to Medina and Vargas Ugarte, but in 1783 according to Moreno. Medina notes, however, that the engraved portrait of the viceroy is dated 1783, but it could have been added later. Not all copies have Jáuregui's portrait.
- Probably printed "en la Imprenta de la calle de Concha" according to Moreno.
- Page 244 misnumbered 243.

Pronunciado en el recibimiento, que como á su vice-patron, le hizo la Real Universidad de S. Marcos el dia XXVII. de agosto del año de M.DCC.LXXXI. / Por D.D.
