- Interview with Dorothy Kay Fishbein, class of 1945, conducted on May 9, 1988 by Leigh Hercher, class of 1991, at Kays home in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. In this segment of the interview, Kay describes her early life in Boston; how she came to be a student at Pembroke after beginning her college education at Simmons College; working in the childrens goods store run by her family while attending Pembroke as a day student; her courses and professors at Pembroke; and the effects of World War II on campus and American culture more generally.
