Augereau poussa l'ennemi avec impétuosité, après lui avoir enlevé les gorges de Millisimo, il cerna le mamelon et le vieux
Château ruiné de Cosseria, où le général autrichien Provera s'était enfermé avec l'arrière garde ennemie. - L'attaque de ce.
Château fut faite sur trois Colonnes commandées par les Généraux Joubert, Banel et Quesnel.- Provera se rendiz prisonnier,
et fil poser les armes à sa troupe, composée de 2000 hommes. Le succès de cette affaire fût dû à la bravoure et au courage
du Gal. Joubert qui, à la tête de sept hommes de sa Brigade, pénétra le premier dans la redoute où il fût blesse.
