Description

Abstract:
1st in pair of etchings, numbered 3 and 7, after Della Bella, engraved by Chartres. 'Three galley slaves on the shore; to right, two slaves standing leaning on a barrel and one seated on the ground, with two galleys and two rowing boats to left, and various figures on the shore. c.1645' - British Museum.
