This loosely engraved sheet depicts an "Austrian Bugaboo," a figure constructed with long bowed legs, a long beard and a large head, blows smoke at the frightened French Army in retreat. Figures in this raggged French army, a jumble of heads, arms and weapons, are suggested by quickly drawn lines and the application of color washes.
