Abstract:
Union soldier on guard in woods near river, gravestone in foreground with the following epitaph engraved upon it: 'Died for the Union. Good friend! For Jesus' sake forbear, to dig the dust inclosed here. Blessed be the man that spares these stones. And curst be he that moves my bones' [epitaph from Shakespeare's grave]
