Unsigned ink and watercolor drawing (by F.F. Lull) after document of Lt.-Colonel Villar in Army Museum, Madrid; 3/4-length portrait of woman soldier in uniform, right hand resting on musket.
Notes:
Francisca Guarch, born in the Valencian town of Castellfort, dressed as a man and fought for seven months on the Carlist side in the war of 1873
Presented, 1970, by F.F. Lull.
