Bremen und Verdensche Infanterie

Abstract:
One of a collection of 26 somewhat crude unsigned original watercolor drawings by von Röder of uniforms of Count Wallmoden's corps during their passage through Mecklenburg, showing Prussian, English, Swedish, Russian, Bremen and Verden, Hamburg, Lübeck, King's German Legion, Russian-German Legion and Mecklenburg uniforms. Man in gray and black holding a sword in his right hand.
Notes:
Upright medium folio, unbound, foxed, holes and tear at top. in maroon cloth slipcase, maroon leather label stamped gold: "Allied Troops 1813-1815".
