- The broader goal of this article is to offer a possible answer to the apparent absence of authorship marks in scripts for films written by Fernando Pessoa. Focusing on “Note for a thriller, or film”, adapted by director Pedro Varela in O Ídolo, a 2021 short film, I present an analysis in which scripts and realized version are approached in dialogue with the detective fiction theorized and practiced by Fernando Pessoa.

- O objetivo mais amplo deste artigo é oferecer uma possível resposta para a aparente ausência de marcas de autoria em argumentos para filmes escritos por Fernando Pessoa. Tendo como foco “Note for a thriller, or film”, adaptado por Pedro Varela em O Ídolo, curta-metragem de 2021, apresento uma análise em que argumentos cinematográficos e versão realizada são abordados a partir de um diálogo com a ficção policial teorizada e praticada por Pessoa.
