Abstract
Excerpt from oral history interview with Henry Marciano. Marciano remembers his father, a Gorham worker, and laments Gorham’s legacy of cancer and other work-related illnesses. He mourns the lost opportunities for a low-income neighborhood resulting from the extreme toxic-waste degradation of Mashapaug Pond.
Note
This oral history was conducted by a Brown University student in Anne Valk and Holly Ewald's fall 2011 course "Oral History and Community Memory".
