Abstract:
63rd in collection of 65 wood-engraved illustations of battle and military scenes of all periods, cut from old books, including scenes from Swiss, Greek, and Roman chronicles in German, and Greek chronicle in Latin; 1st of 4 (of 10?) plates showing battle scenes, this one of army besieging fortified town, 2 tents and soldier beheading enemy in foreground.
