    area. Most of the interview focuses on his working life, including 20 years of employment in the
    foundry and warehouse at Gorham and his experiences as a union member and organizer for the
    Steelworkers International Union (including grievances and arbitration). He remembers working
    conditions at Gorham, a wildcat strike, Korean war veterans at Gorham, and changes at Gorham
