Abstract
Oral history interview with Al Campbell about the Mashapaug Pond community, Providence, R.I. Al Campbell resided near Mashapaug Pond from his birth in 1945 to age 25. An amateur historian and collector of artifacts, Campbell describes longtime neighborhood friendships and activities, including a large annual reunion of current and former residents. He also discusses local awareness of pond water contamination by Gorham Co. and other sources.
