Abstract
Oral history interview with Ana Quezada about the Mashapaug Pond community, Providence, R.I. Quezada, a native of the Dominican Republic who has lived near Mashapaug Pond since 2005, is a community activist and Board member of the Environmental Justice League. She details the health dangers associated with toxic waste in the pond, the level of awareness of residents, and the process of implementing the pond's restoration, working with city government, Textron Corp., and the state Dept. of Environmental Management.
