- This document is a letter from Aruna Roy to Mrs. Sonia Gandhi regarding draft policy on the environment fomulated by the Ministry of Environment and Forests, Government of India. The NAC had received requests from several NGOs and environmental and social activists from all over the country to review the draft policy as it was perceived by many to be very problematic. These NGOs and individuals had raised various objections and offered suggestions relating to the draft policy.
