- Pembroke Center archivists developed this catalog in conjunction with the 2026 exhibt "Moments from an Extraordinary Life: Nellie B. Nicholson's Scrapbook." This catalog shares biographical information about Black women who graduated from Brown University between 1905 and 1945 and also includes a timeline of notable moments in Black women's history in Rhode Island and at Brown between 1866 and 1968.
