Abstract:
Elizabeth Neville Berkeley was a pseudonym of Winifred V. Jackson. Page 1 on the verso of an incomplete letter to Anne T. Renshaw, dated "4/22/20." HPL states: "I trust that 'The Crawling Chaos' safely reached you, & that it did not prove too inferior for consideration." This story was first published in The United Co-operative, 1, No. 3 [April 1921], 1-6, as by "Elizabeth Berkeley and Lewis Theobald, Jun"
