HPL goes on to discuss his bookplate: "You'll probably be having the other plates professionally printed now ... so that I fancy it wouldn't be any trouble for you to get my order sandwiched in with the others ... I'll give you discretionary powers on a downward revision of the quantity order'd, if 500 plates comes to over a Lincoln portrait"
