With manuscript corrections. HPL completed writing the original story on December 12, 1921 (HPL to R. Kleiner, 1921 Dec 14, T35:120). This typescript was probably prepared by E. Hoffmann Price in November 1932 (SL 585, HPL to EHP, Nov. 26, 1932: "I shan't mind the appearance of Picture ... if anywhere in the description on the old house come upon the word fanlight, please change it to transom"). It was first published in The National Amateur, 41, No. 6 (Jul 1919).
A collection of correspondence to and from Providence-based speculative fiction author, Howard P. Lovecraft. Also contained are many of his original manuscripts.
