On bottom of cup: "Spaulding & Co., Chicago", eagle with outstretched wings, the Gorham stamps (lion, anchor, G, "950-1000 fine", 9164. On base of cup below Gorham marks: The Billings Cup, given by, C.K.G. Billings, for Morgans under saddle, Vermont State Fair, 1913
