Abstract
Detail of cast silver check cutter (desk set accessory). Shows lower left corner of back with Gorham's marks of lion, anchor, and G. Form also called a "straight edge", but called a "check cutter" in Gorham records and publicity materials. Part of 16-piece desk set made for the inlaid silver table exhibited at the St. Louis World's Fair in 1904.
