'Let Me Alone. Jeff Davis & Co. 'Seeing the Elephant.'

Abstract:
An elephant labeled "Uncle Sam" flings Jefferson Davis and a cat labeled "& Co." into the air with his trunk. Jefferson Davis holds a broken Confederate flag, his pirate hat falls to the ground. "Let Me Alone." is printed above the image, Jeff Davis & Co. "Seeing the Elephant." is printed below. "J. G. Wells, cor. Park Row and Beekman Street, N. Y." is printed to the left of the image.
