Most hymns undated, including all of supplement IX. Supplement X includes hymns dated 1739-1741. Supplement XI has a preface dated 15 Oct. 1742 while the text includes hymns dated 1740-May 1743; supplement XII contains hymns dated up to September 1745. Supplements 8-12 have a section each designated as "Zugabe", with continuous paging and signatures and numbering of hymns. Altogether 2142 hymns included (960 in v. [1], 1182 in v. 2; the numbering is not always correct) Edited by Graf Nicolaus Ludwig von Zinzendorf who also composed the text of many of the hymns. Text in two columns.
