- This is the first edition of The Virtual Cataract Surgery Course Manual for Ophthalmology Residents. Ophthalmic graduate medical programs have moved toward the integration of virtual
simulation technology into resident cataract surgery training. However, there exists a
dearth of published, curricula. We describe a simulation-based cataract surgery course that
can help transition ophthalmology residents to the operating room.
