Most resembles jalīl al-tawqī‘ style of script after Ibn al-Bawwab (d. 1031); one of the "Six Classic Hands." (c.f. Safwat "The Art of the Pen"; p. 231). Five lines. Text box dimensions measure 19.7 x 14.1 cm.
Paper in poor condition overall. Spots of discoloration. Evidence of attempts to repair lower edge with strips of paper. Folio is damaged and stained in lower left of recto. Some insect damage.
Black ink on tan paper with black diacritical marks. Gilded red and green floral verse markers present. "734" appears in pencil on recto.
