          <mods:abstract>Set of detailed, hand-drawn floor plans, in black, light

        red and brown, of George Corliss House, 45 Prospect St., Providence, RI ca. 1878. The

        designer of the house is unrecorded, but it was probably built by George Corliss, the

        original owner and an engineer. The house was acquired by Brown University in 1952 and

        become Brown's admissions office in 1972.</mods:abstract>
