- Abstract
- From playing in the pond as a child to teaching at Alvarez High school as an adult, Michael Scott has spent a lot of time on Mashapaug Pond. In his interview, Scott remembers playing in the pond as a boy and discusses how he has seen both the pond and the surrounding neighborhoods change, paying particular attention to the Broad Street area. Scott also speaks about Urban Pond Procession's work with Alvarez High School and the positive effect project based learning has had on his students.
