- Abstract
- This slide presentation was developed by the research data management librarian in Brown University's Library Center for Digital Scholarship (CDS) and a graduate student as part of his Professional Field Experience (PFE) for completing his degree at the Graduate School of Library and Information Studies at the University of Rhode Island. The objective of this project was to help to prepare Brown University Anthropology graduate students to prepare for collecting and documenting the materials that they collect in the field. Three Anthropology PhD students at Brown were interviewed about their research and the types of outputs they may be most interested in. This presentation was then developed to address those challenges and presented to Anthropology students in their Research Methods seminar at Brown with the aim of helping them to be better prepared for documenting, managing, and publishing their research materials when they go into and return from the field in the future
