- Influenciadas pelo enorme passo interdisciplinar de Cocktails (1923-1926/1984), de Luís Aranha, Pau Brasil (1925), de Oswald de Andrade e Tarsila do Amaral, Quelques Visages de Paris (1925), de Vicente do Rego Monteiro, o Primeiro Caderno do Alumno de Poesia Oswald de Andrade (1927) ou O Mundo do Menino Impossível (1927), de Jorge de Lima, Pagu e Julieta Barbara publicaram os seus livros de poemas com desenhos, Álbum de Pagu e Dia Garimpo, em 1929 e 1939, respetivamente. Ambas exploraram, num e noutro, a inseparabilidade da relação entre a hibridez dos materiais e a intimidade da representação, sem precedentes, do corpo da mulher na poesia moderna brasileira.

- Motivated by the enormous interdisciplinary work of Luís Aranha’s Cocktails (1923-1926/1984), Oswald de Andrade and Tarsila do Amaral’s Pau Brasil (1925), Vicente do Rego Monteiro’s Quelques Visages de Paris (1925), Oswald’s Primeiro Caderno do Alumno de Poesia Oswald de Andrade (1927), and Jorge de Lima’s O Mundo do Menino Impossível (1927), poets Pagu and Julieta Barbara published their own books of poems with drawings, Álbum de Pagu and Dia Garimpo, in 1929 and 1939, respectively. Each collection of poetry explores the inseparable relationship between the hybridity of materials and the intimate and unprecedented representation of women’s bodies in modern Brazilian poetry.
