- In this paper, we aim to analyze the short stories “I have shoes for you” and “Farrina”, present in Cidinha da Silva’s book Um Exu in New York (2018), seeking to understand them based on the displacements driven by the African diaspora, as well as gender and sexuality studies. For this purpose, we adopt the term “black lesbian geographies”, based on the concept of “lesbian geographies” (BROWNE; FERREIRA, 2015; POLESSO, 2018) and in discussions about the African diaspora (GILROY, 2001) and decoloniality (LANDER, 2005; BERNARDINO-COSTA, 2018). This reflection aims to think of literary geography as a possibility to break the boundaries of racism and heteronorm, through the affirmative representation of black and lesbian characters.

- Neste artigo, visamos à análise dos contos “I have shoes for you” e “Farrina”, presentes no livro Um Exu em Nova York (2018), de Cidinha da Silva, procurando compreendê-los com base nos deslocamentos impulsionados pela diáspora africana, bem como pelos estudos de gênero e de sexualidade. Para tanto, adotamos o termo “geografias negro-lésbicas”, com base no já existente conceito de “geografias lésbicas” (BROWNE; FERREIRA, 2015; POLESSO, 2018) e nas discussões acerca da diáspora africana (GILROY, 2001) e da decolonialidade (LANDER, 2005; BERNARDINO-COSTA, 2018). Essa reflexão tem por objetivo pensar a geografia literária enquanto possibilidade de romper com as fronteiras do racismo e da heteronorma, por meio da representação afirmativa de personagens negras e lésbicas.
