Abstract:
Informs Brown that 13 French vessels, mostly steamers arrived, and almost immediately began landing troops. The French flag in unison with that of the Roman Republic has been hoisted on the fortress. Adds at the bottom that 500-600 Lombards on small Sardininan steamer arrived, but it is said that the French will not allow them to land!
