Meditation on the Divine Will: September, 1862

Description

Abstract:
Lincoln's famous speech: "The will of God prevails." Whatever the purpose of men on either side, they are but instruments of the Divine Will. God must will that this contest take place and continue, since He has allowed it to do so. He can give the final victory to either side.
