Rosa dicitur, occasione vultus infantilis sub eiusdem forma apparentis. Dei para cognomen addidit a S. Maria, [2] Casta ex voto. S. Rosa quinquennis voto virginitatis se obstrigens eiusdem respectu speciosam comam sibi prescindit, [3] Constans in proposito. S. Rosa parentum suasionibus et blanditiis fortior, oblatas instantissimè nuptias, liberrimè repudiat, [4] Severa in corpvs. S. Rosa asperrimo cilicio multus acus intexit, coronam capiti instruit aculeis obarmatam cingendis lumbis triplicem catenam nectit, [5] Habitv religiosa. S. Rosa habitum Ordinis poenitentia S. Dominici ardenter concupisum, solemniter suscipit, [6] Iesv familiaris. S. Rosa spirituali aut corporali intenta operi, apparentis infantili specit sponsi sui conspectu varie recreatur, [7] Coelesti sponso comitata. S.
