- This paper deals with the concept of love regarding Bernardo Soares' relation with the world surrounding him, with a special emphasis on his relationship with the Other, underlining its importance for the communicational aspects of his writing. By analyzing one excerpt of Book of Disquiet, it will become clear how literature makes Soares' desire and love build up non extensional intensities and universal singularities, which transpose his loving body, simultaneously deconstructing some of the articulate modes of the status quo which opposes itself to that loving mode.

- O presente artigo explicita o conceito de amor no campo dos modos como se manifesta em Bernardo Soares na relação com o mundo que o rodeia, com especial ênfase na relação com o outro, pondo assim em evidência a sua importância para os aspectos comunicacionais da sua escrita. Com recurso à análise de um trecho do Livro do Desassossego, verificar-se-á como, através da literatura, ele deseja e ama, que intensidades não extensivas e singularidades universais faz passar pelo seu corpo amante, desconstruindo em simultâneo alguns dos modos articulados da ordem vigente que se opõe a tal modo de amar.
