- Reproduzem-se aqui as caricaturas de Fernando Pessoa realizadas pelo caricaturista António Teixeira Cabral (1908-1980) a partir de esboços recolhidos presencialmente. Abordamos o contexto do modernismo em que se inseriram, tendo o caricaturista surgido nos círculos intelectuais de então, tornando-se num artista de renome a partir do início da década de 1930 e integrando o grupo da revista Momento, com a qual Fernando Pessoa colaborou em 1934 e 1935. Assinalamos ideias e imagens que se repercutem, quer em obras de Teixeira Cabral, quer nos escritos do último ano de vida de Fernando Pessoa. Apresentamos três cartas onde o artista propunha a venda dessas caricaturas, revelando a consideração que Teixeira Cabral mantinha por Fernando Pessoa.

- This article presents portraits of Fernando Pessoa drawn by the caricaturist Antonio Teixeira Cabral (1908-1980), which were taken from sketches made with Fernando Pessoa personally present. We analyze them here in the context of Portuguese modernism. Teixeira Cabral emerged as a portrait caricaturist in the Lisbon intellectual circles and he quickly became a well-known artist at the beginning of the 1930s. The artist was part of the group that published the magazine Momento, with which Fernando Pessoa collaborated in 1934 and 1935. We point to some ideas and images that reverberate in the works of Teixeira Cabral and in the writings of Fernando Pessoa in the last year of his life. Three letters are also presented, in which Teixeira Cabral manifests his intention to sell the caricatures of the poet, and which show us the high regard and consideration that Teixeira Cabral had for Fernando Pessoa.
